Sadly there isn't. The best way to learn about PCs is to hang around the PC forum and look at the various threads, trying to gauge what your own items might be worth. If you PM me in game I'd be more than happy to help you PC some things, though I'm not all that great at it. I do know some things though.

Check the price check forum on this site and look at what items are being priced they do have a few guides. After awhile you will catch on to what people are considering rare and valuable.

The auction here (link at top left of page) can also help, browse thru the items similar to yours to see what people are willing to pay - which is not the same as people wanting to sell if there are no bids.

If your items are less than max in damage, energy, mods, upgrades, etc then they very well could be "crap" as far as anyone willing to buy them or taking the time to sell them.

First, read all the stickied threads in the price check forum. Then read & learn what the maximums are for each item and mod. Wiki is your best friend for information on items and item mods. Also, just read price check threads. Search for items similar to yours. If it's a "rare" skin or desirable skin, the value is increased.

Thanks a lot for the input. I guess I'll be reading more and playing less the next few days...

There is not a single thing in this game that the Stickies havent covered already, our price check moderators are really great, so if you just BOTHER to read the information already given you shouldnt have any problems.

And if something isnt in the stickies most of the times its garbage...

Pricing can be so tricky, however, it all comes down to finding the right buyer. To get a basic idea of pricing there are at least 4 threads you should be checking:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3049452
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3063024
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=44867
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3036210

In general though the weapon should have max damage and a low requirement. The lowest requirement I've seen on a max damage weapon is 7, and typically it is 8. The lower the requirement the more valuable it is.

Swords and bows and daggers will sell quicker than hammers and mesmer items. Death weapons and axes are pretty decent sellers also. Damage modifiers like damage +15% when your health is over 50% or in when in a stance are usually prefered over hexed conditions.

Also any mods should be perfect or near perfect - meaning they should be as high as they can get: +30 health, +5 armor (general), +7 armor (specific), 20% longer enchants, 20% chance of 20% armor penatration, 20% chance of 1/2 cast or recharge of spells, 10% chance of double adrenaline, etc.

If the mods are perfect but the weapon isn't max damage, you can expert salvage the mod and try selling that part only. The new expert salvage system now lets you choose which mod to remove and you also have a chance to not have the item destroyed in the expert salvaging process. Mods like the 20/20 armor penatration (sundering) sell for very high prices, so you might find selling the mods to be easier than the weapon.

You can sell an item that you have customized, but the buyer can't use it - so don't even try.

Hopefully that helps a bit. Any one feel free to correct me or provide more info.
